The social cohesion in Europe is under pressure, but how does it affect the member states? In this episode, we have the honor of talking to Herman Van Rompuy who formerly served as Prime Minister of Belgium and President of the European Council. Herman Van Rompuy shares his views on the state of the EU and how the EU plays a role in strengthening the labour market and managing immigration. Also, we will discuss whether our expectations for country leaders are too high or whether we are witnessing a leadership-deficit in Europe.
Host: Peter Mogensen, CEO of the Danish think tank, Kraka.
Guests: Herman Van Rompuy, former Prime Minister of Belgium and the first president of the European Council and Anders Dons, Nordic CEO of Deloitte.
Although most young people in Denmark are still thriving, more and more of them are suffering from low wellbeing. Reports, measurements and studies from recent years confirm that the problem is both real and growing. This report maps the lack of wellbeing among young people in today’s Denmark and examines what may be the causes of their increasing low wellbeing. In continuation of this, we suggest a number of areas for improvement as well as concrete solutions to how to reverse the trend of declining wellbeing reported by children and young people. Explore this executive summary of the report to see the key findings and recommendations.
